It was a perfect day to fly a kite. It was amusing to watch it dance in the wind. Captivated, I kept on shooting, as all my wonderful kite memories flashed by!

I am delighted to earn a Special Recognition Award in the international juried competition from the prestigious Light Space and Time, Online Art Gallery for my photograph Blue Heron, Take Off.
The Light Space and Time competition, June 2017 "Animals" Art Exhibit, received just under 700 global contestant's entries from professional to passionate artists.
I am honored to receive this award as the Blue Heron image was taken with my iPhone. No special lens, camera, photshop or digital artistry was involved in capturing this majestic Blue Heron as he took off over the pond, reflecting the shadows of the setting sun.
It was an awe-inspiring scene watching the two playful Blue Herons majestically taking off, landing and wading as the sun set over the Coral Ridge Golf and Country Club, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on February 8th, 2017.
I invite you visit the CRGCC category, on my AlexAndra M:o:m:e:n:t:s Gallery online website:alex-andra.com, to see the other images of the playfull Blue Herons!

I am delighted to earn another Special Recognition Award in the international juried competition from the prestigious Light Space and Time, Online Art Gallery for my photograph Abstract Sky Water!
The Light Space and Time competition, August 2017 "Open Art " Exhibit, received just under 800 global contestant's entries from professional to passionate artists.
I am honored to receive this award as the Sky Water image was taken with my iPhone. No special lens, camera, photshop or digital artistry was involved in capturing this shot, reflecting the shadows of the sun, clouds and sky on a murky Coral Ridge canal, in Fort Lauderdale.
It was an amazing scene to witness how the reflections of sun light, white clouds and blue colors of the sky could transform the brownish green waters into a worthy of a photgraph. This "artistry" is what inspires me to paint with my "photo-lens"! These images stir such a joyful emotion in me, a must to capture it, a painting happening right in front of my eyes!
I invite you visit AlexAndra, M:o:m:e:n:t:s Gallery, my online website @: http//:alex-andra.com, to see the transformation of other abstract images!
