It was a game to see how close I could approach before he flew off. And fly off he did, but not before I caught some great shots!

Brown pelicans are protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Actof 1918. Since the government passed the ban on DDT in 1972, the Brown Pelican population has grown and is the least endangered of the pelicans. A popular mascott of Universities, also a national bird of many Islands, but the Pelecanus occidentalis, is the state bird of Louisiana. Many children will remember "Nigel" the ethical brown pelican in the film Finding Nemo.

Return Policy:
If you must return a print you will receive a store credit good for 90 days only for the print price/sales tax. Insurance, shipping, handling, and packaging costs, if applicable, will be deducted.
Custom and Special Orders.
Custom and Special orders must be paid for, in full, in advance and are nonrefundable and nonreturnable. We cannot stop an order once it has been placed for printing.
Shipping Claims:
All shipments should be inspected at the time of delivery. Damaged packages should be refused immediately and the damaged shipment reported to the carrier. We are not responsible for damage to goods caused by a third party shipping provider or the complete loss of goods due to the same.
